How to Select the Model According to the Terrain, Geology and Well Depth?

1. In our experience, hilly and sandy areas are suitable for light crawler water drilling rig, such as YG-DT100, which is easy to transfer;
2. Hard rock areas are recommended to match with impact rotary drilling rigs, which have stronger penetrating power;
3. If the depth of the well exceeds 150 meters, high power water drilling rigs should be given priority and equipped with high head mud pumps or high power air compressors to enhance the slagging efficiency.
4. For the mixed stratum with soft soil and pebbles, gear alloy drill bit can be used to balance the speed and hole formation quality.

Suggestions for the Selection of Supporting Equipment

In the drilling practice, the configuration of mud pump, air compressor and power system directly affects the drilling stability. We generally recommend:

1. Mud pump: recommend the model with flow rate of 80m³/h and head of more than 30 meters to ensure the support and cooling of the hole wall.
2. Air compressor: at least 8m³/min, 0.8MPa or more parameters are needed for gas lifting wells; for deep wells, double-cylinder or screw-type configuration is needed.
3. Power supply system: 30-50kW diesel generator set is recommended for field operation, and equipped with a voltage regulator to ensure that the control system is not interfered with.
